Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred directly to your hotel to rest and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Day 02

Permit Preparation Day (Free day)

A free day in Kathmandu while our team finalizes your special restricted area trekking permits for the Dolpa region. Great time for last-minute gear shopping.

Day 03

Kathmandu to Nepalgunj Flight

Catch an afternoon flight from Kathmandu to the lowlands of Nepalgunj, situated near the Indian border. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 04

Nepalgunj to Juphal (2475m) flight & Juphal to Dunai (2140m)

An early scenic flight to Juphal airstrip. From here, begin the adventure with a 3-hour initial trek following the Bheri River to Dunai.

Day 05

Dunai (2140m) to Lingdo (2391m)

Duration: 5 hours. Trek along the southern bank of the river, passing through small villages, terraced fields, and beautiful pine forests to reach Lingdo.

Day 06

Lingdo (2391m) to Laina Odar (3370m)

Duration: 6 hours. The trail gains steady elevation today as we climb towards Laina Odar, walking along dramatic river gorges.

Day 06 Alt

Laina Odar (3370m) to Nawarpani (3475m)

Duration: 6-7 hours. A challenging trek through narrow valleys, crossing suspension bridges to set up camp at Nawarpani.

Day 07

Nawarpani (3475m) to Dho Tarap (3944m)

Duration: 7-8 hours. Enter the expansive wind-carved highlands of Tarap Valley. Reach Dho Tarap, a famous, high-altitude Tibetan-style settlement.

Day 08

Rest Day at Dho Tarap

A crucial acclimatization day. Spend time exploring the ancient Bon-Po and Buddhist monasteries and observing local unique highland cultures.

Day 09

Dho Tarap to Numa La Base Camp (4440m)

Duration: 4-5 hours. Head up towards the upper valley paths heading to the base of the massive Numa La high pass.

Day 10

Numa La Base Camp to Danighar (4512m) via Numa La Pass (5318m)

Duration: 6 hours. A grueling but rewarding day crossing the challenging Numa La Pass at 5,318m, featuring stunning vistas of Mt. Dhaulagiri before dropping to Danighar.

Day 11

Danighar to Yak Kharka (3995m) via Baga La Pass (5169m)

Duration: 5-6 hours. Conquer the second high mountain pass, Baga La Pass (5,169m). Enjoy views of the Kanjirowa range before trekking down to Yak Kharka.

Day 12

Yak Kharka to Phoksundo (3600m)

Duration: 3-4 hours. Descend through beautiful forests to reach the spectacular alpine shores of the emerald-blue Phoksundo Lake.

Day 13

Rest day & explore around Phoksundo Lake

Relax by the crystal-clear, deep blue waters of Phoksundo Lake. Visit Ringmo village and its century-old monasteries.

Day 14

Phoksundo Lake to Chepka

Duration: 7-8 hours. Walk along the steep rocky trails flanking the river gorge, descending smoothly towards Chepka village.

Day 15

Chepka to Juphal (2475m)

Duration: 6 hours. Final day on trail. Complete the loop circuit trek back to Juphal, ready for flights back tomorrow morning.

Day 16

Juphal to Nepalgunj & flight to Kathmandu

Board the early flight back to Nepalgunj and seamlessly connect to a flight back to Kathmandu. Check in to your hotel.

Day 17

Free day in Kathmandu

A buffer and relaxation day to catch your breath, buy souvenir gifts, or visit heritage sites around the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 18

Fly back home

Our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the international airport for your final departure flight home.
