"With 23 years of experience in the Himalayas, my goal is to bridge cultures and safely guide you through the roof of the world."
Namaste! My name is Sunar Gurung, and I was born in the beautiful mountain village of Singla (altitude: 2,310m). My life has been deeply rooted in the Himalayas from the very beginning. Since 2003, I have dedicated myself to the trekking industry, learning the mountains from the ground up.
I began my journey as a porter for three years, moved up to Assistant Guide for two years, and then excelled as a Sirdar (Chief Logistics Officer) for three more. For the past 15 years, I have specialized as a French-speaking guide, working closely with Terres d’Aventure in France and their local Nepalese partner, Adventure 6000, for over two decades. Today, I lead both freelance expeditions and custom-tailored private groups.
